Entropy
I gaze into the endless night
Missing you with every sigh.
The stars are gems twinkling above,
Dancing wishes in the sky.
What crime did I commit that day?
What wrong caused all this blame?
If loving you led you astray,
It's you who's heart's aflame.
You stepped away from our sweet bliss,
Now long lost history.
A page within the tome of time,
An ancient reliquary.
Phenomenal as once we were,
Asunder we shall fade
Much as like two stars entwined
Burn out as they're unmade.
Interstellar was our path
Beyond the cosmos fair
Yet not to be, and thus denied
Despite my ardent prayer.
