She has actively volunteered at the university where she works, holding positions in the Staff Senate, sitting on various action boards, volunteering with the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity, and teaching Leadership Studies courses and workshops including topics such as Gender Based Violence Prevention and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB).
